BIG SUMMER FATHER'S DAY PICNIC
BRANDING, TONE OF VOICE, COLLATERAL, SOCIAL GRAPHICS, ANIMATION
The annual Father’s Day BBQ in East Keswick had seen a decline in popularity and engagement within the community in recent years. Determined to revitalise the event, the village council sought to introduce something fresh and exciting to rekindle interest. This year, they collaborated with local residents who once owned a well-loved Vietnamese restaurant, bringing a unique twist to the traditional Father’s Day BBQ: a flavorful and dynamic 'Feast from the Far East.'
When approached to create the event’s identity, I aimed for a design that was vibrant, playful, and edgy while maintaining the inclusive spirit of a community gathering. Drawing inspiration from the bold colours and rich textures of Vietnamese street food signage, we developed a striking visual identity. The campaign included posters, engaging static and animated social media graphics, and playful stickers, all designed to reflect the event’s energy and cultural flair.
